I am a Christian photographer and cinematographer. One might refer to me as a Cinephotographer.

I love photography because it is how we freeze one moment in history and relive a moment of joy, sorrow, peace, love, hope, bitterness, faith, doubt. I love cinema because it is the only way, really, besides dreams to relive a series of moments and emotions in time.

But, really, that’s just part of me.

LIFE | #LiturgicalLifestyle #JesusChrist

lit·ur·gy [lit-er-jee]

noun, plural -gies. 1.a form of public worship; ritual.

I want my life to be a living liturgy for Christ. Harmony in a world of dissonance.

A lesson was left from the enlightened Emily Dickinson for us to learn:
“If I can stop one Heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain,
If I can ease one Life of Aching,
Or cool one Pain

Or help one fainting Robin,
Unto his Nest again,
I shall not live in Vain.”

My day to day walk is a feeble attempt at this form of chivalry. If I can affect even one person towards Jesus Christ, or just be there for someone, my life will not be in vain.

Furthermore, James, inspired by the Spirit of God, says in verses 19-20 of his fifth chapter: “Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.” This is my mission in the arts – my mission in life. If I can turn one life God-ward, it will all be worth it.

I’m not just a visual artisan. I’m a conversationalist. A writer, reader. Thinker, philosopher. Listener, talker. Teacher, learner. Musician, student. And I lift weights. A lot of weights.

I love fonts. I love jeans. I love stripes… And I’m excited about the future.
